31 March 2015 – On the Tuesday April 7th edition of the Library Show host Ruth Carroll interviews Mr Stephen Cooper. Stephen Cooper is the CEO of LCiL (Leicester Centre for Integrated Living).
LCiL is a User Led Organisation based in Leicester city that works in innovative ways based on the social model of disability to support disabled people at a local, regional and national level to exercise choice and control for independent living.
All their work is underpinned by the social model of disability and as a user led organisation we are run and controlled by disabled people. We positively promote equality in the workplace and in our services on the grounds of age, disability, sex, gender reassignment, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief and sexual orientation.

17 March 2015 – Calling all members of the public and UHL hospital volunteers, young and not so young who have a passion for music. Wednesday 20th May 2015 starting at 7:00pm is the date for the next new members evening at Radio Fox – put it in your diary. Andy Valentine will meet you in the reception area of the Osborne Building at 7:00 pm.
If you haven’t already done so your first step should be to contact Andy Valentine on volunteer@radiofox.co.uk. During the meeting you will visit the studio complex and get a feel of how things are organized and meet some of the gang. We look forward to meeting you.

15 February 2015 – We all know 23rd April is St.Georges Day for everyone else but here on Planet Radio Fox we celebrate St. Foxy’s Day…
23rd April is Radio Fox’s birthday, we don’t know what will be happening yet, but we do know 2 things:
A. There will be a party.
B. We will eat cake.

Another New Show On Radio Fox begins Thursday 5th February 2015
30 January 2015 – Award winning Radio Fox presenter Pete Bracey returns to the hospital airwaves with a brand new Late Night Radio Fox show.
Every Thursday from 10pm until midnight, join Pete for some great music after dark with great new features and the comedy spot. Be one of the Radio Fox night owls and join Pete every Thursday on Late Night Radio Fox. Just in case you can’t stay awake you will be able to ‘Listen Again’ to Pete’s new show on Monday evenings from 6pm until 8pm. It’s so good you can listen to it twice.

29 August 2014 – Come along and join in the fun with Radio Fox at the following events.
Saturday 30th August will see Radio Fox at The Syston Carnival playing music (of course) and providing the announcements for a great family day out. The following Sunday 7th September will find us at The Knighton Park Family Fun Day. There will be plenty to see and do all day. So come along and meet some of our presenters, see if we really have got “faces for radio”…..

13 August 2014 – Radio Fox presenter Richard Cheatley returns to Radio Fox on Wednesday 27th August hosting Patients Requests.
After a break due to work commitments Richard returns to Radio Fox on Wednesday 27th August hosting one of our nightly patients request shows which we imaginatively like to call Patients Requests. The Patients Requests Show begins at 8pm so expect plenty of requests from the wards, great music, interesting features and all the usual Radio Fox fun and games.
New Shows on Radio Fox – Buy One Get One Free
13 August 2014 – Starting 27th August 2 brand new shows come to Radio Fox.
Soul fans make a date for 7pm for Wednesday’s on Radio Fox. Beginning on Wednesday 27th August Alan T hosts Radio Fox’s brand new soul show called It’s That Soul & Motown Show (it took him ages to think up that name…) The new soul show is run alternate weeks with every second week hosted by Richard Gundelach who brings you his Soul-n-Funk show called Take It To The Bridge which features fantastic music from the funky side of soul. 2 great soul shows, 2 great presenters, 1 great soul party every Wednesday at 7pm ahead of the Patients Request Show.
