Vista eye health charity in Leicester town centre

19 September 2016 – Vista eye health charity will be in Leicester town centre on Wednesday 21st September.
Vista is one of the oldest and largest local charities in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Vista have been working with people with sight loss and their families for over 150 years. Vista will be at the Leicester Haymarket Memorial Clock Tower next Wednesday 21st September, 10am to 3pm, to mark National Eye Health Week. If you have any concerns with eye health please visit Vista on Wednesday 21st September in Leicester town centre.
Vista’s aim is to:
- Promote eye health to prevent sight loss;
- Reduce the impact of sight loss, and
- Provide support and care for people with sight loss.
As well as rehabilitation, residential homes, social groups and befriending services, Vista provides specialist services for people with learning disabilities, dementia and dual sensory impairment.
They are there at the point of diagnosis, supporting children and adults in eye clinics by providing information, advice, guidance and support when it’s most needed.

08 September 2016 – Radio Fox supports the Hold Onto Our Hearts campaign to ensure that the Children’s Heart Unit remains at Glenfield Hospital.

31 August 2016 – Radio Fox will be out and about in the community spreading fun and laughter wherever we go. Come on down this Saturday or Sunday and join in the fun.
This weekend finds Radio Fox out in the community spreading smiles and music at summer fetes. Come and see your all your mates from Radio Fox. As well as the spectacular arena acts at each event there will be the Radio Fox fundraising stall, so come on down to bag a bargain book, vinyl record, DVDs, or CDs. It will be a great day out in the sunshine for the whole family.
Saturday 3rd Sept 2016 – Syston Carnival – From 12:00. Radio Fox provides the music and the master of ceremonies. This years theme is ‘Space’. Central Park, Syston.
Sunday 4th Sept 2016 – Knighton Park Family Fun Day – From 11:00am. Radio Fox provides the music and the master of ceremonies.

23 August 2016 – Radio Fox will be at the 2016 GrobyFest – Free Entry on Saturday 27th August at the Groby Ex-Servicemens Club.
This years GrobyFest features fantastic live bands playing all day, Barbecue, bouncy castle plus Radio Fox. It will be held in the car park of the Groby Ex-Servicemens Club 16-18 Leicester Road, Groby, LE6 0DJ Leicester.

15 August 2016 – A new Rock Show begins on Wednesday 17th August. Radio Fox adds a second great rock show to it’s schedule – The Jurassic Rock show with The Dobster.
Radio Fox Sport anchorman Paul Dobson AKA ‘The Dobster’ steps into the studio on Wednesday’s at 8pm to present The Jurassic Rock Show. Now Foxy rock fans can hear a great rock show twice a week. Rocking out in style every Saturday from 7pm it’s The Leather & Denim Rock Show with Rockin’ Rick Leatherland, it’s the show that’s so full of rock “it rocks up hill…” And now joining Rockin’ Rick is The Dobster on Wednesday’s. Two great presenters, two great rock shows, one rocking Radio Fox.
